How To Change A Custom Boot Animation On Samsung Galaxy Ace

Changing a custom boot animations Galaxy Ace is very easy. Sometimes after flashing custom ROM but we don't like its Boot animation. As I said, it is as simple as ABC, it should success unless you did not follow the steps correctly. 

Of course, it requires you:
1. Rooted Phone
2. Root Explorer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&hl=en
3. Any HVGA boot animation (Important: Only use HVGA. Higher resolution one won’t work)

Here is an example of a custom boot animation for a HVGA resolution:

Instructions:
  1. Connect your phone to your computer via USB.
  2. Copy the bootanimation.zip file that you want to install, to your SD card. Please be sure it's rename to bootanimation.zip
  3. Unmount USB storage and launch the root explorer (or others explorer) on your phone.
  4. Browse to /system/media using a file manager like Root Explorer, copy the existing bootanimation.zip file from there and paste it somewhere safe on your SD card as a backup.
  5. Browse to the location on the SD card where you copied the new bootanimation.zipand copy paste it to /system/media. Please be sure you have change the permission to R/O (on top of the right) before you replace a boot animation.
  6. You should now have the new boot animation successfully installed on your device. Simply restart it and you should see it running upon boot!
